On June 15, 2020, the last French Boeing 747, registered F-GTUI and operated by the company Corsair International, flew from Paris-Orly airport to Kemble in the United Kingdom (special flight SS747) to be dismantled.
Corsair had operated a total of five 747-100, five 747-200, six 747-300 and six 747-400, plus one 747SP, since 1992. Its latest 747-400 quadruple-engine carried more than 7 million passengers and circled the earth more than 2,000 times.
